Kahit saan. Basta ang alam ko, may tanong ako. Ano'ng ginawa ni Charice? Sumali sya sa mga singing contests. Nanalo, natalo, nag-runner-up.

At dun sa reporter na nagtanong tungkol sa sexuality nya, sabi nya, "Why would you ask me that question? I think that's a very inappropriate question." Aray! Napaka-showbiz kasi kung magtanong. Onli in da Pilipins.

Ano nang mangyayari sa "It's more fun in the Philippines" line?

I have the right to speak. This is a free country. It's freedom of speech in a democratic country.

Naalala ko yung sinabi mo sa SONA last year. Sabi mo, dapat itigil na ang utak-alimango. Utak-talangka. Pano? San dapat magsimula? Tapos may bill pang anti-cyber bullying. Pano mapupuksa ito? Very challenging yan.

    1. yes,ur right, coz the crabs trying to protray that they don't like charice so they instead showed their likes on j.sanchez as they compared,.j.s. is an american born tho pinay mom and mexican dad-thats uncomparable. charice pure pinoy blood living in pinas and live poor without anyone helping her and single mom raising her and lil bro..who tried hard to support the family through joining amateur singing contests around towns just to get some money for their daily needs..joined in that abs-cbn singing contest and lost due to text voting coz her family and friends dont have money to buy loads to do text vote for her-that counts too..her great voice was not appreciated and recognized by the producers of abs-cbn but the other countries did notice that great voice from starking king korea, paul o'grady in london tv, in sweden, netherlands, italy,in singapore, on ellen degeneres tv show and finally a huge break came in when Oprah noticed her performance on starking tv show-korea,and not even her being a contestant on Little Big Star., then from Oprah-charice was in the Obama pre-inaugural balls-and sang there, dueted with celine dion-live in madison square garden, andre bocelli in italy, dueted with other singers abroad-so these crabs so jealous, envious of the accomplishments of charice and able to buy cars and a little mansion, can u imagine that? who won't get crabby feelings? in just 1-2 years lots of accomplishments, if shes just in pinas and guesting once in awhile in asap she won't be able to buy a car, thats why lots of crabby feelings out there to pull her down. when she was down before this-nobody was crabbing her,coz shes down already, unless they want to bury her. its all about enviousness, jealousy that made these crabs hate charice, maybe charice stepping on their idol's status-or fame, thats the name of the game. filipino-crabs can really upsets u the way they do crabbing-they are insane. good charice was brought up strong by mommyraqz. nobody in the phils had helped her to be in this position, they only trying to get her to their shows coz shes already up there. coz she's not pretty or appealing to the producers or directors they dont showcase her in their program or maybe coz she has different manager that has no direct contact with the abs-cbn network-so no pull or no lakas,eh palakasan system lang naman sa pinas-otherwise wala ka dyan. just check those artists/celebs who are their managers? its the people working within the abs-cbn network, and charice manager is not working in that network to have a pull system. good oprah noticed charice talents-and it all happened coz of Oprah-charice came to fame.

well anitako i guess all we can do is accept the fact na ang haters will always hate... no one can stop them from being foul-mouthed just to be able to convey something cruel.

it is so sad that she gets this kind of flack from her own countrymen...

goes to tell you what kind of society the philippines have produced...

      very sad indeed

Love you Charice....

  17. This is great, twestj! The best thing is that Charice is so strong, thanks to her faith, her family and Chasters, that haters won't be able to put her down. They'll keep on talking and hating while Charice will continue working her way to the top with love in her heart.

Amazing how our girl constantly expresses her love for her country and her fellowmen and always acknowledges them with each success she gains - hers is an example of real patriotism.

Sabi nga, drown evil with an abundance of good - this is what Cha's doing :)

  18. My mom and I plus two other chasters went to manila the other day to watch Charice Infinity concert tour in manila. We traveled 6 hours by land (because we were all from baguio).. So we arrived @ araneta coliseum so early but there was already a long line. At first I noticed that there were not plenty of people inside the coliseum but minutes before the concert started I was shocked because the Coliseum was nearly full! I loved charice way back since LBS started!. So when I got the chance to finally see charice I noticed she was soooo cute even with the short blond hair and "rockish" outfit. I was wondering how come people would always say "malaki ang panga" , "baduy", "mayabang" and the like but if you see her live in concert you will have to change your point of view regarding her. She is uber cute, she has nice body, cute rocker outfits which are obviously expensive (leather jacket and knee high boots). Her voice was so powerful and clear that I thought i was listening to her CD. Now i love charice even more! hindi xa mayabang. sadyang mataas lang ang confidence level nya. No matter what "CRABABAYANS" will say against her, Charice's career will continue to flourish! So to all chasters out there (who were all accomodating when i got the chance to meet all of them) lets all continue supporting charice! and to Charice, we love you no matter what!

  20. .....nice post...i feel bad for charice......she had been trying her very best to prove something and we all know that shes already there and yet sad to say...kapwa pinoy ang sumisira sa kanya....at ang mga taong ito ay syang mga wala nmn napapatunayan pa kahit sa mga sarili nila....i just hope that charice would be more stronger....natatakot ako na pano kung isang araw bumigay na si charice...with all of the pain na nakuha nia simula pag kabata hanggang ngayon...hindi ko n alam kung ano pa ang pedeng humigit sa salitang TAPANG....for you charice i know that pagod kn sa mga araw araw na naririrnig..nababasa at napapanood mo...if only i could be your angle...i would take you away...away from them na walang alam kundi husgahan at saktan ka just to stop the pain and hurt na binibigay nila syo...u dont deserve all of this....iv been a silent chaster.....i may not be there with all of your performnaces...not wit any gathering of ur group....but im always here watching over you.....

  21. I like your blog.It makes sense a lot.

Let us just be happy and proud for Charice. Kung ano man ang marating niya, it will be reflective of our nation's success or failure in the global entertainment scene. Siya lang ang TUNAY NA LOCAL AT DUGONG PINAY na nagtagumpay internationally. I like JS too but the sad thing is, hindi napansin ng mga Pinoy ang kakayahan nya (even if she already auditioned on other talent searches) not until she was discovered in American Idol. My point is: some Pinoys are so hungry to claim a HALF PINOY'S success as their own KAPAG NAPANSIN NA internationally. Yet, we have Charice who's solo carrying the Philippine flag pero hinihila ng mga crabs siya pababa. I'm satisfied with the way Charice is handling d Philippine media right now. I don't mind if for them it would sound arrogant,...the important thing is she's just being straight-forward and candid with her answers. After all, there are no fixed and absolute rules in the manner of answering questions. Vice Ganda, Kris Aquino, Rosanna Roces or even Melai Cantiveros have their own way of answering questions posed by the so-called journalists. To the media and press, let's just respect and accept the fact that Charice is no longer the little girl na inapi-api, ininsulto at binato ng mga panlalait at intriga. What Charice right now is also d result of what her detractors had done to her.

  22. Thumbs up for a well written opinion. I think those people who are bashing her are losers simply because they are giving Charice a publicity. Remember, in showbiz good or bad write ups are still considered publicity. Of course, sometimes it can really be below the belt but Charice can't please everyone and I guess these haters comprise only a small fraction considering that she has been steadily getting more fans each day. We can all learn even from haters and move on like what Charice does. She is enjoying the fruits of her success and we are all witness to that. From Infinity and beyond.....we will love Charice.

Keep up the good work Charice mas madami ang nagmamahal sa iyo.

  28. It so simple to says na some of the crabster ay nai-starstruck tlaga kay Charice, at di nila ma-carry na a simple as Charice would become International singing sensation at in good terms pa sa mga mabibigat na tao sa tate. Di nila kinaya ang mga na-achieve ni Charice, kasi ang akala ng iba she cannot make it but she did it and reached her dreams in just a short span of time.

  29. Sapul!

You know you are a hater when you focus on things that she's not rather than on the great things that she can do.

I've been there. I was once a crabster who mocked Charice. From time to time, I would make fun of her together with my friends. "baduy, di maganda, etc"..basta may malait lang. Natatawa na kami diyan. Ang babaw no?

You know the feeling of making fun of someone just like in highschool? It feels damn good right? What more if your friends do the same? It feels great to be accepted and to be a part of something. If you notice, it's the same scenario with these crabs. Everyone's doing it so I'll do it too! Everyone says it so maybe I should say it too, right?

    No.

I personally know some of these haters in real life. Ano yon? Inggit.

Maybe we still have this belief that you were born into your social class. I don't know. They have a hard time believing that this simple and once poor girl from Laguna would now be doing albums and movies in Hollywood. What more, she's not your typical prom dress wearing sosyal mestiza that people seem to idolize in the Philippines. That's so hard to believe right?

I don't know how exactly it happened but I became a fan. She has challenged the way I perceive things and has since then inspired me to become a better person. For all the great things she's accomplished so far for herself and for the country, I say that she deserves respect.
